1. What is Prana?
Prana, variously known as ‘chi’, ‘mana’ and ‘ruah’ – literally breath of life – is the vital force that nourishes and sustains all living beings. There are three primary sources of this universal energy: the sun, the air and the earth.
2. What Is Pranic Healing?
Pranic Healing is an ancient art that marries scientific and spiritual modalities to accelerate the body’s natural healing process and to increase wholistic wealth and wellbeing. In essence, the discipline involves the distribution of life energy, or prana, to areas of the energy body, or aura, as required.
3. What is the energy body?
The energy body, also known as the aura or etheric body, is the energy field that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. When the energy body is contaminated, the mind and physical body become increasingly susceptible to illness and trauma. Removing diseased and dirty energy from the etheric body and replacing it with fresh prana is conducive to overall wellbeing.
4. What are chakras?
The chakras are the power stations of the energy body. Each of these whirling centres is responsible for apportioning prana to a specific set of organs, muscles and glands. When energy congestion or depletion occurs within a chakra, the corresponding organs and bodily functions are adversely affected.
5. How does the energy body become contaminated?
Our energy bodies are constantly absorbing and processing the energies of our environments. When we interact with sick, stressed or disturbed people, our energy bodies can become contaminated, leading to the manifestation of illness and instability.
6. What can Pranic Healing treat?
Pranic Healing has successfully treated a diverse range of disorders, including, but not limited to: fever, headaches, bruising, burns, lacerations, obsessions, addictions, insomnia and chronic physical discomfort.
7. Can anybody become a Pranic Healer?
Almost everybody has the innate ability to heal. The only requisites for attendance at the
Pranic Healing Basic Course are the ability to concentrate and follow simple instructions. The modern founder of Pranic Healing,
GM Choa Kok Sui, developed structured and systematic syllabuses for each level of the discipline. The step-by-step instructions of every Pranic Healing course are designed to foster the evolution and empowerment of every student.

9. What is Arhatic Yoga?
In the Indo-Aryan language, Sanskrit, ‘Arhat’ literally translates to ‘Saint’; a being of refined emotions, advanced mental faculties and highly-developed intuition. Arhatic Yoga is the ultimate objective of the Pranic Healing syllabus; it is the ‘yoga of synthesis’. It does not involve bodily contortions or physical flexibility; rather, Arhatic Yoga is a school of spiritual techniques designed to rapidly accelerate spiritual growth.
